Low Rider™ S
How do you improve on an already incredible machine?
We saw the reasons why the Low Rider™ S was so popular, and we wanted to give its memorable character and proven experience to our big twin powertrain, but in a lighter, nimbler package.
The 2022 Low Rider™ S retains its trademark stance and black and bronze colouring, giving it an unmatched presence on the road. You’ll know exactly what it is from the first look.

The raw, unbridled feel of the ride comes not only from the heavy breather intake and new exhaust system, but from the powertrain bump – we’ve taken it from a 114 to a 117. Now, Low Rider™ S fans can get our biggest motor right out of the box. The powertrain puts out 125 lb.-ft. of torque, giving the motorcycle a noticeable kick.

We also added the perfect secondary colour – a beautiful silky grey, one of the hottest colours in the custom hot rod scene in 2022. We call it Gunship Grey.

For more lean angle, we played with the suspension to bring the bike higher off the ground. Taking the lower rear shock from 43 mm to 56 mm means more confidence in those sharp turns.
The instrumentation of Low Rider™ S is now directly in the rider’s eyesight. We heard straight from riders that they want less head movement to read the gauges while riding, so we moved the instrumentation from the console on the fuel tank to mid-handlebar, where every ounce of this bike’s potential can be easily seen.

Low Rider™ ST
We weren’t done yet with Low Rider™ S. As our quintessential modern Harley-Davidson®, we wanted to take it even further.
We saw how customers were customizing their cruisers – modifying the displacement, tweaking the suspension, adding saddlebags and aftermarket fairings. We wondered how we could make it easier, how we could give them what they wanted straight out of the box.

This brand-new model is for the customer who may not need the full magnitude of American Touring, but is looking for that performance package and the protection the fairing brings. We bring you the Low Rider™ ST, a true lightweight bagger that can’t help but catch your eye.
Like any Harley-Davidson®, there’s always a respect to the history and being able to trace back the model’s family tree. We knew we needed to keep the iconic look of Low Rider™ S’s ancestors, while simultaneously giving Low Rider™ ST its own identity. This machine has that wow-factor you’re looking for.

Our design team took their time tweaking the fairing until it was just right. The fairing on Low Rider™ ST features side ducts straddling the round headlight, which is a direct throwback to the FXRT of the ’80s. It’s slick and functional, and adds to the remarkable aerodynamics of this motorcycle.

The sitting position of Low Rider™ S is a little more relaxed, but in the ST the rider is in charge, sitting on top of the bike rather than sitting in the bike. With 125 lb.-ft. of torque and a tall suspension in the rear, the rider will feel every inch of power this motorcycle has to offer.
Are you ready to go the distance? Because Low Rider™ ST will take you there. With standard cruise control and saddlebags, it’s comfortable on the long haul. We also shifted the saddlebags vertically 2 inches compared to Sport Glide™, for less bending and more lean capability. These saddlebags can be removed easily in seconds when your trip is over.
Whether you’re canyon carving, cruising, performance riding, or throwing on some gear for a longer trip, Low Rider™ ST is a great choice. The perfect combination of performance and touring opens the roads for adventure and a new way to tour.

Road Glide™ ST & Street Glide™ ST
Our customers have an appetite for big, beefy, and powerful. We see you making your baggers performance machines and we want in. The launch of these models is our first step into a performance-leading Grand Touring line. They’re bigger, they’re badder, and they will take your breath away.

We got rid of the two-up seat, we made it faster, more nimble, with a better lean angle. We designed these ST models with weight, power, and performance in mind. True performance baggers need to be able to do it all, from the racetrack to the sweeping canyons to everything in between. We have captured that perfect combination with the Road Glide™ ST and Street Glide™ ST.
Prior to 2022, performance baggers had to be custom-designed and funded by the customer on one of our standard bikes. We’ve taken that work out of your hands with the Road Glide™ ST and Street Glide™ ST and provided you with a shortcut to your performance bagger dreams.
We brought in the Milwaukee-Eight™ 117 powertrain with a heavy breather. In combination with the perfect tuning of the exhaust, these models are exceptional performance baggers. For the first time, a CVO™ level powertrain is available in a non-CVO™ product, straight from the factory.
With a quick glance at the fuel tank, you might see something familiar – the Harley-Davidson® logo with that signature dropped H is a direct callback to our race bikes in the late 1910s and 1920s. You may also recognize it from our ’77 Low Rider. We wanted our ST models to be new and fresh, but still carry that respected lineage with them.

You may also notice the bronze wheels and bronze accents on the powertrain, key elements of Low Rider™ S’s design. Because Low Rider™ S is the vital piece of DNA for our modern Harley-Davidson®, we wanted to bring a taste of it to Road Glide™ ST and Street Glide™ ST, to give them today’s attitude in addition to their powerful past.
But if that’s still not enough, the ST models are the perfect canvas for your personal touch. A variety of performance parts and accessories are readily available to amplify your ride. This is where we really get to play.
Our 2022 CVO™s have colours, graphics, and finishes that you’ve never seen before. CVO™, or Custom Vehicle Operations, has been our way to give our customers the highest level of factory customization that can possibly be achieved, and that’s been our mantra ever since we introduced the line in ’99.

These vehicles need to evolve with our customer, they need to make an impact, and the rider needs to feel the premium quality. That’s why this year, we’ve injected more colour, more graphics, and more technology into the 2022 CVO™ line to create some truly special motorcycles.
CVO™s 2022 colours are bright, bold, and saturated, with stunning pearl effects and unique 2-tone and 3-tone designs. Working closely with Gunslinger®, a custom paint company that has been in our CVO™ arsenal and family for a long time, we’ve pushed the limits. Hand-painted pinstripes, intricate 2-tones and 3-tones, airbrushed drop shadows – these custom looks will take your breath away.
