The careful design and production quality put into this year’s new lineup make them Harley’s biggest investment in a new lineup to date. It’s time to rev those engines and discover Harley-Davidson®’s newest masterpieces.
The 2024 Street Glide™ and 2024 Road Glide™ have never made an impact quite like this. Two of the most iconic motorcycles in history have been reimagined and redesigned through and through, with category-leading technology to improve every aspect of the touring experience.
The pinnacle of touring is captured in the 2024 CVO™ Road Glide™ and 2024 CVO™ Street Glide™. This year, for the 25th anniversary of CVO™ (Custom Vehicle Operations), Harley-Davidson® did not hold back. The best paint, the best performance, the best technology, and the best audio were essential to include in this year’s models.
Joining the CVO™ family for the first time is the 2024 CVO™ Pan America™, CVO™’s first adventure-touring motorcycle. Designed with customer feedback in mind, the CVO™ Pan America™ is fully-loaded with custom paint and accessories for every adventure enthusiast.
The real star of the show is the 2024 CVO™ Road Glide™ ST. Making its CVO™ debut, this performance bagger builds on Harley’s Screamin’ Eagle Factory Racing team experience and King of the Baggers Racing Series to deliver track performance, technology, and styling.
2024 Street Glide™ and Road Glide™
Everything about the 2024 Street Glide™ and 2024 Road Glide™ has been improved for 2024, while maintaining the feel, quality, and style that make these motorcycles the most popular models in Harley-Davidson’s lineup. They will be replacing the base Street Glide™ and Road Glide™, the ST models, and the Special models.
So what’s new?
Engine
This advanced version of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine is new and exclusive to the 2024 Street Glide™ and Road Glide™.
- A new liquid-cooling system focuses on the exhaust valve area of each cylinder head and further optimizes thermal comfort for the rider.
- A new airbox and air filter have 50% more volume than the 107 and 114 airbox and heavy breather intake, which improves power by providing the engine with more clean air.
- With 11% more horsepower and 7% more torque than the previous 2023 Street Glide™ Special and 2023 Road Glide™ Special models, this engine offers a significant performance upgrade equivalent to last year’s ST models.
Entertainment & Display
The brand-new colour touchscreen infotainment display is powered by Skyline OS, replacing all analog modules and featuring a customizable TFT display. It provides the latest suite of infotainment technology, making it the most tech-forward display ever offered on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, as capable as what can be found in premium automobiles. Additionally, new audio capability will impress any rider.
- The 12.3-inch colour touchscreen display has 400% more screen area than the 6.5-inch Boom! Box GTS screens from previous years.
- Wi-Fi® connectivity allows both iPhone™ and Android™ users to connect their audio and take phone calls.
- A Bluetooth® receiver is now built into the system, meaning a separate module is no longer required.
- Embedded navigation is activated.
- A new 4-channel 200 watt amplifier delivers a 100% power increase over the 2023 Boom! Box GTS system with significantly improved sonic performance.
- The fairing is equipped with two 5 1/4-inch fairing mounted speakers.
Aerodynamics
With an updated fairing and adjustable air control, the aerodynamics of the 2024 Street Glide™ and 2024 Road Glide™ improve on the already impressive aerodynamics of last year.
- Both the batwing and sharknose fairing designs, although obviously updated, are clearly evolved from the iconic Harley-Davidson® designs recognizable to riders and non-riders alike. The splitscreen vent is now fully integrated into the design, and the windshield now appears to float above the fairing.
- The new fairings are more than just stylish – they are designed specifically to improve rider comfort. In wind tunnel testing, subjective helmet buffeting is reduced by an average of 60% compared to equivalent 2022 models.
- An adjustable control vein in the fairing center vent allows the rider to dial in the airflow for comfort in most conditions and riding gear choices.
- Adjustable veins on the trailing edge of the Road Glide™ model fairing can be used to channel more or less air into the rider’s torso for desired comfort.
- Air deflectors on the fork skirts of the Street Glide™ can be adjusted to reduce wind turbulence to the rider’s HUD.
Design
New design elements create a dynamic flow among the key components of the motorcycle, including the fairing, the fuel tank, the side covers, and the saddlebags.
- Both fairings have been redesigned to improve aerodynamics and better integrate new lighting and air control vents.
- Signature LED lighting is a distinctive design element that makes these motorcycles instantly recognizable, even at night. The Road Glide™’s single LED headlamp appears to have twin elements, recalling a key feature of all previous Road Glide™ model sharknose fairings.
- These models are easy to customize and make your own.
Ergonomics
Rider comfort is just as important to Harley-Davidson® as performance and style, which is why the 2024 Street Glide™ and the 2024 Road Glide™ are perfect for the long-haul.
- The 2024 Road Glide™ handlebar has a wider, flatter bend than the previous shape, which puts the rider’s hands in a more natural, comfortable position for long rides.
- A redesigned seat shape on both models and luxurious padding materials offer a significant improvement in long range comfort for most riders.
- The front brake lever is adjustable for the reach to best match the rider’s hand size or preference.
- New rear suspension components provide a dramatic improvement in rider comfort compared to the 2023 Road Glide™ and Street Glide™ models. The rear suspension travel is now 3-inches, a 50% increase in travel compared to last year’s models.
- Showa® Dual Emulsion Technology shock absorbers replace the previous suspension that use emulsion technology on only one shock, which improves damping response and makes for a more predictable ride.
Performance & Technology
Exciting new technology, features, and safety enhancements work together to create an improved performance experience and your safest ride yet.
- For the first time ever on the Street Glide™ and Road Glide™, selectable ride modes electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle and the level of tech intervention. The available ride modes are: Road Mode, Sport Mode, Rain Mode, and a customizable mode for your personal preferences.
- Pounds and ounces have been shaved wherever possible, resulting in a significant weight reduction of 16-18 pounds. Braking, handling, and acceleration have all been improved. Less weight means these models are easier to move and are more accessible for new riders. Experienced riders will feel the difference.
- Confidence-inspiring features and a full package of safety enhancements come standard on the 2024 Street Glide™ and Road Glide™: Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements, Dynamic Ride Modes, Tire Pressure Monitoring, Linked Brakes, both Cornering and Straight-Line ABS, Traction Control, Hill Hold, Anti-Slip, and Anti-Drag.
2024 CVO™ Street Glide™ and CVO™ Road Glide™
This year is the 25th anniversary of CVO™, Harley-Davidson®’s fully-loaded, limited-edition machines with top customization options. Harley-Davidson made sure to build the most high-tech, powerful Street Glide™ and Road Glide™ while honouring the history of CVO™.
- The 2024 CVO™ Street Glide™ and 2024 CVO™ Road Glide™ are equipped with an exclusive Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 powertrain for exceptional performance.
- High-performance Showa® suspension components promote confident handling and outstanding rider comfort.
- Exceptional technology features include four selectable drive modes, premium four-speaker Harley-Davidson® audio powered by Rockford Fosgate® Stage II audio system, and a 12.3-inch colour touchscreen display powered by the exclusive Skyline OS.
Colours
The 2024 CVO™ Street Glide™ and 2024 CVO™ Road Glide™ are offered with a choice of two new colour options.
The base colour is a colour-shift copperhead with warm shift pinstripes. This paint offers a subtle hue shift from the cooler red to copper that pops in bright sunlight.
The optional colour is Legendary Orange, which is based off the second ever CVO™ paintwork. Raven Metallic sections are separated by a hand-applied Atlas Silver brush pattern section, with a pinstripe. A stylized “#1” logo is part of the fuel tank design.
2024 CVO™ Pan America™
Because adventure-touring is the fastest growing segment of the motorcycle market over 600cc, Harley-Davidson® knew the time had come to welcome the first ever adventure-touring motorcycle to the CVO™ family. They created the most compelling offering of American adventure-touring motorcycles that exists today, a rugged yet stylish dual-sport outfitted with a host of accessories selected by customer feedback and designed to enhance the journey on and off the road.

- The 2024 CVO™ Pan America™ comes in beautiful Legendary Orange and Raven Metallic with Atlas Silver highlights on the fuel tank and fairing. A stylized “#1” logo on the fuel tank is similar to the graphic on the 2024 CVO™ Street Glide™ and Road Glide™. A custom seat and pillion covers also have colour-matched orange piping.
- Along with all 2024 Pan America™ models, the 2024 CVO™ Pan America™ comes with a significant upgrade to the electrical charging system. Rotor and stator upgrades increase the charging system output at idle by 14% from previous years.
- An upgraded main wiring harness and upgraded hand controls make this model easier and more fun to ride than ever.
- The 2024 CVO™ Pan America™ now comes equipped with a Softail® battery for improved cold start performance and battery life.
2024 CVO™ Road Glide™ ST
For the first time ever, the CVO™ family welcomes the Road Glide™ ST, which brings with it an all new dimension of performance to the CVO™ portfolio. Drawing inspiration from Harley-Davidson®’s Factory Racing team’s expertise and the adrenaline-soaked King of the Baggers Racing Series, the 2024 CVO™ Road Glide™ ST pushes the boundaries of performance while captivating onlookers with its custom details and new visual design, promising an unrivaled riding experience.
So what exactly makes this model the one everyone is waiting for?
Performance
The CVO™ Road Glide™ ST is the fastest and most sophisticated performance bagger ever produced by Harley-Davidson®, which is a claim that is not made lightly.
- At the heart of this beast is the new Milwaukee-Eight 121 high-output engine, which is tuned to produce 12 more horsepower and 6 lb.-ft. more torque than the VVT 121 engine sported by the 2024 CVO™ Road Glide™.
- With an electronically limited top speed of 193 kilometers per hour (120 miles per hour), this powerhouse stands as the fastest Grand American Touring motorcycle ever offered by Harley-Davidson®.
- To boost acceleration performance in every gear, a 30-tooth output sprocket provides a lower final drive ration than the 32-tooth sprocket used on the CVO™ Road Glide™.
- Screamin’ Eagle Extreme Flow titanium slip-on mufflers feature oval-shaped lightweight titanium shells and forged carbon fiber end caps to reduce weight by 30% compared to the original equipment mufflers.
- A dry weight of just 800 pounds – 25 pounds lighter than the 2024 CVO™ Road Glide™ model – is achieved by using lighter materials. Forged carbon fiber composite is used to form the front fender, the seat cow, and the tank console to save weight and add that competition style. Harley opted to leave the composite unpainted to put the material on display.
- Premium adjustable suspension components round out the performance design of this absolute unit. The rear suspension features dual outboard Showa® Remote Reservoir Shock Absorbers with adjustable preload and rebound and compression damping. The front suspension features inverted 47mm Showa® One-by-One Forks, also adjustable for preload and rebound and compression damping.
- The solo seat features a raised rear bolster to help hold the rider in position under hard acceleration.
